Here’s to bolder...
Aging, for me, is really about growth. It was attempted to be sold to me as decline. Thank God I stood in the right line.
Aging has created new opportunities for me with very few challenges.
Aging allows me to contribute without being a burden. I am proud to continue to add love to my life with friends and family who are keeping their hearts open to me.
I am blessed to feel young, it’s less important how I look. My attitude and optimism define my spirit. I’ll look to the advantages I have, not to what I may perceive I lack.
Connected will be my focus, but not to my computer or phone. I’ll reach out, I’ll make an effort.
Love will continue to grow in my life. For myself and those dear to my heart.
I’ll choose change because it happens. It will get an embrace from me because it will be right in front of me.
It’s easy to be a turtle, as in moving slower, and that’s a good thing. I love turtles!
I’ll continue to honour my body. I am amazed at how well it serves me.
I’ll look forward. The past is a nice place to visit, not a nice place to stay. New memories abound, all my relations will strengthen.
I’ve ditched the stuff that could tie me down. If some’thing’ comes into my life, some’thing’ leaves - it's how I stay light.
I’ll extend my hand first, to apologize, before someone dies.
I have many friends who never celebrated a 60th birthday, they never made it. Time is my friend, not my foe.
I’ve made it to 60, I appreciate and am profoundly grateful for the accomplishment.
I’ll use all my experience and, yes, my wisdom, trusting that I’ll enjoy the next 10, 20, 30 years or more. I plan to give much away and be of service.
